Barbara Bishop Christian has walked through the pearly gates of Heaven. While watching a Billy Graham Crusade, Barbara came to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Her faith has never wavered. She grew up in Cleveland, graduating in 1967 from The Andrews School for Girls in Mentor, Ohio. Barbara has lived all over Northeast Ohio spending the last 33 years in Akron. Robert Lee McNeal, 84, passed away December 26, 2022. Born in Youngstown, Robert had lived in the Tallmadge area for 42 years. He retired from the U.S. Marine Corp as First Sergeant with 26 years of service, the Akron Post Office with 20 years of service, and also Sunny Hills Golf Course. Janice M. Appel, formerly of North Myrtle Beach, passed away on April 29, 2023. She was born on March 23, 1945 in Chicago, IL to Richard and Anna Mary (Fatkin) Appel. Her father was in seminary and when he finished, they moved to Fostoria, OH. After a few years there, they moved to Canton, OH, where she graduated from Perry High School.
