Virginia "Ginger" Libero Pugliese, 87, of Wallingford, passed away after a short illness on January 22, 2024, in her home of 50 years surrounded by her loving family. Ginger was the beloved wife of Raymond Pugliese for 63 years; loving mother of Guy (Carole) Pugliese, Renee (Jim) Hannan, and Maria Nuterangelo; dear sister to Carol (John) Cannon and the late Marie Inzero; devoted grandmother of Katherine Pugliese, Theo, Lori, Nicholas Hannan, and Sophia Nuterangelo; and special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Joseph Ambrogio) Carvalho. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Carvalho. Madelyn was born in New Haven on February 19, 1928, daughter of the late Benjamin and Josephine (Gambardella) D'Acunto. She worked for Winchester Repeating Arms in the export department as their bookkeeper. She and her husband enjoyed ballroom dancing, camping and traveling the U.S. and Canada.
