Floyd J. Brown, Jr., 80, of Defiance, formerly of Antwerp passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Defiance Regional Medical Center. Floyd was born in Defiance, Ohio on February 18, 1945, a son of the late Beatrice (Kendall) and Floyd Brown, Sr. As a young person, Floyd enjoyed hunting and fishing. He proudly served in the Army National Guard and went on to be a millwright at GM Powertrain. Floyd was also a member of Defiance Christian Church and the Amvets. She was a long time member of Antwerp United Methodist Church. Marilyn thoroughly enjoyed flower gardening and harness racing along with her husband, Earl. She was most proud of being able to celebrate 70 years with Earl, which laid the foundation for the family she loved so dearly. Delmar T. Miller, 94, of Sherwood, Ohio passed away Monday, September 9, 2024 at Mercy Health-Defiance. Delmar was born in Mark Center, Ohio on August 25, 1930, a son of the late Louise (Joost) and Carl Miller. He was a 1947 graduate of Mark Center High School. He went on to serve his country in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953. Delmar paid the ultimate compliment to his father by becoming a farmer like him. Earl S. Peters, 88, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center. Earl was born in Edgerton, Ohio on December 11, 1935, a son of the late Nylo (Zuber) and Willard Peters. He worked at International Harvester as a traffic controller but his heart belonged to his family and racing horses. He drove his first race in 1962 in which his father also participated. Lonnie was born in Holgate on May 14, 1943, a son of the late Helen Catherine (Armbruster) and Harry George Bostelman. He graduated from Holgate High School and then received his B.S. and Masters from BGSU. Lonnie taught and coached basketball at Antwerp High School.
