Winifred June (Stacey) Parker, 92, left this world on December 31, 2022. She was born in Summit, WI on June 17, 1930, to Daniel and Myrtle Ann (Pett) Stacey. Winnie was orphaned at age 3 1/2, but she was given a loving home by her Aunt Jessie and Uncle Clifford Pett. She lived with them on a farm outside of Palmyra, WI and then moved to Whitewater in 1944. She attended Palmyra school from grades 1-8, then attended Whitewater High School where she graduated as an honor student in 1948. She then attended college at the Milwaukee Business Institute. Trudi was raised on a farm in Jefferson, WI, the first-born daughter of Robert and Lucille (Richter) Schroedl. After graduating from Jefferson High School, she attended UW-Oshkosh graduating with a degree in social studies education. Her first teaching job was in Columbus, WI. She loved teaching and her students. Trudi wrote and directed middle school plays based on popular TV mystery shows. Debra graduated from Bryant High School in 1967 and cum laude from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD in 1971. Debra entered the political arena with her election to the South Dakota House of Representatives in 1976. She became South Dakota's first woman Speaker of the House in 1987. Audrey Ann Banach, born to Charles and Doris Stockfish of Lake Mills, WI on August 16, 1952, passed away in her home in rural Kenosha County on the morning of September 19, 2022, at age 70. She married Michael Patrick Banach of Hartford, WI on August 19, 1984, and raised two children: Mitchell Charles Banach and Tedmund Joseph Banach. Teresa "Kuhn" Reed, 73, passed away on August 16th, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Teresa Jane Kuhn in St. Mary's Hospital in Watertown, WI on October 24, 1948 to Robert and Jane (Zimmerman) Kuhn. Teri graduated from Watertown High School in 1966 and went on to attend the University of Oshkosh. From there she moved to California, where she worked as a paralegal. She enjoyed the warmth and beauty of California until she moved to Florida where she met the love of her life, Lawrence Reed. Thomas James Sprengel, 81, was born in Fort Atkinson, WI on July 18, 1941, and died on July 29, 2022, at his residence in Sun City, AZ, from cancer.
