Louis William Vassie, Jr., age 87, of Bowling Green, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, June 29, at 7:54 a.m. peacefully at the Hospice House of Bowling Green with his family by his side. Lou was born in Louisville on June 30,1936, and was the son of Louis and Florence Vassie, growing up in Germantown. He was a graduate and president of duPont Manual High School Class of 1954. After meeting the "Love of his life", Elizabeth "Liz" Worth, they were married October 8, 1955 at Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church. Lou created his own legacy through his love of baseball. Leah Ray Huff, 84, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Danville, KY, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 in Melbourne, FL. Leah was born on August 20,1936 in Boyle County, KY as the first daughter of Cecil and Lola Webber. Her Daddy was a huge influence on her and encouraged her to always do her best musically and in all things. She was an accomplished musician (soloist, pianist and organist).
