Francis "Fran, Franny" Gremmo, 80, of Boise, ID, passed away on Wednesday August 23, 2023, after a very long and hard fight with cancer, his family at his side. Fran was born in Manchester, Connecticut on April 5, 1943, and lived in Manchester for 60 years before moving to Boise, Idaho. Fran welcomed his first two children, Julie & Karin with his first wife Carole (Brown) Atkins in Manchester. He then married Nancy (Barney) Gremmo October 4, 1969. He later married Marcia (Ryan) Gremmo, on January 11, 2002, and moved to Boise, Idaho where they resided until his passing. Franny was a long-time resident of Manchester. Mrs. Rose Ann Sabatini, 78, of Manchester, CT (formerly of Rome, NY), passed away after a long illness, on September 4, 2022, at home surrounded by her children. She was born in Utica, the daughter of Jack and Frances (Mercadante) Scire. She was married in Rome, NY in 1962 to Primo F. Sabatini. She held other positions during her life, but she was most proud of the 25 plus years she spent at the New York State School for the Deaf assisting others. Judith (Gross) Gray, 76 of Manchester CT, passed away peacefully in her beloved Manchester home on September 3, 2021. She was born in Meriden, CT on July 31, 1945, the youngest daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Nyiri) Gross. She graduated from Lyman Hall High School and married Arthur Gray in 1974. She worked several jobs including at Geremia Oil Company, Travelers Insurance and the Manchester School system, but found her favorite job to be mom to Joseph and Melissa. Jessica Aponte, 41, of South Windsor, formerly of Meriden, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at Rockville General Hospital, surrounded by her family, friends, and caregivers.
