Mrs. Thelma Rose Callahan, Greenwood, went Home to be with the Lord on the late evening of Saturday, January 20, 2021 at Life Journey in Avon. She was 87. Thelma was born April 21, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana a daughter of the late Carl and Pearl (Southerland) Merrick. Thelma attended Southport High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 1950. She had been employed at Glass Container for 15 years as the Executive Secretary. She then worked as a secretary for One Mission Society (OMS) for five years before retiring. She was a member of the Meridian Church of God where she was a faithful servant for 82 years. Betty Crockett, 87, Lewisport, died Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Betty was born November 29, 1933 in Greenwood, Indiana. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Lewisport. She is survived by her children, Beth (Rodney) Reed, Louisville, KY and Glenn Irvin of Lewisport, KY; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her parents, her husband, Enzer Crockett; one brother and three sisters. Margie was born March 9, 1941 in Franklin, Indiana a daughter of the late James Allen and Ethel Ruth (Fallis) Weaver. Mrs. Iska June Adams, Indianapolis, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, December 23, 2020. She was 97. June was born December 6, 1923 in Cooter, Missouri, the only child of Austin and Ruth (Webb) Greene. June was a 1941 graduate of Cooter High School and on June 1, 1943, during World War II, married the love of her life, Robert Joseph Adams. They together owned and operated R.J. Adams and Associates Warehouse Company for many years. She had been a den mother for the Cub Scouts and was a member of the Southport Presbyterian Church. In her leisure time, June enjoyed knitting, reading and watching the Indiana University Hoosiers basketball, the Indianapolis Colts and the Indiana Pacers....

Donald Ray Moore, age 91 of New Whiteland, Indiana, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 13, 2020. He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family. He was born on Oct. 18, 1929 to Harry and Muriel (Wise) Moore. He was the youngest of 11 children. He married Wanda Gibbons on December 4, 1952 at First Christian Church in Harrisburg, IL. She lovingly survives. He was employed by the railroad in communications for 42 years, retiring from Conrail in 1991. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, collecting railroad memorabilia and spending time with his large family.
