Our beloved father and grandfather David Willard Stewart, Jr., was born on July 2, 1946, in Beaumont, Texas to David W. Stewart, Sr., and Bobbie Lee Curtis Stewart. He excelled in track, baseball, and football, making him an All-State Athlete at Yates High School where he graduated in 1965. His collegiate endeavors began on the campus of Wiley College where he met the love of his life, Faye Oliver and they became husband and wife on July 5, 1969. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Wiley College with a Major in US History and a minor in Minor Health Physical Education. Otis was born on November 11, 1954 to Melvin and Malissa (Stroman) Byrdlon in Brazoria, Texas and was the oldest of three children.
