Robert J. Cote, 33, of Portland, CT., a Berlin native, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023. The son of Christopher M. and Patricia K. Cote of Berlin, he was a 2008 graduate of Berlin High School and a former member of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed gardening, construction projects, community theater, video games and drawing. Richard Alan Rampone, 81, of Kensington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Aldo and Mildred (Motto) Rampone. Upon graduating from New Britain High School in 1959, Richard enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, stationed in Camp LeJeune, NC, and San Diego, CA, where he worked as a draftsman and received the rank of Lance Corporal.
