Anna Rebecca Yoho Goddard, age 99, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 1, 2023 at her home. She was born January 13, 1924 in Wheat, WV, the second daughter of the late Jacob Henry and Nettie Mae Cross Yoho. She was a member of the Steelton Church of Christ New Martinsville. Anna loved to work in her flower beds and gardens, as well staying busy sewing, quilting, and doing cross stitch. She was born January 26, 1925, in Lodi, OH, a daughter of the late Charles Wade and Mary Belle Kemery Mikesell. She graduated in 1942, from Westfield High School in LeRoy, OH. She went to Berea, OH to work and attend Baldwin Wallace College. During WWII, she married Forrest Homer Schar. Charles A. Wright, 90, of Clarington, Ohio passed away at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Wheeling, WV on September 13, 2022. Charles was a former resident of Greenwood, Canisteo, and Garwoods. For most of his life Charles was an educator and administrator who spent the last decades of his career in both the Greenwood and the Canisteo Central School Districts. Upon retirement, he enjoyed extensive travel and spending time with his family.
