Leslie's (Les's) life ended peacefully on October 24, 2022, at 2:25 Monday morning. He is grieved by his twin brother Larry Skyta, and his family, of Marysville, WA. He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Sarah Skyta and his older brother, Dayle Skyta. Les graduated from Cascade High School in 1967. On February 29, 1968, he enlisted in the United States Army. He received an honorable discharge in October of 1969 and attained the rank of Specialist Five.<br>He performed odd jobs until he was hired by the City of Marysville. Born in North Dakota, she was the last remaining of 13 children raised by Michael Brittner and Margaret (Hagel) Brittner. We were blessed with her love for 90 years and we were better for it.
