John Fox passed away peacefully April 17, 2025, at the age of 92. John was born in Lindale, Georgia, the middle son of Carl and Gertrude Fox. John graduated from McHenry High School at the age of sixteen, and with his father's permission joined the US Navy soon after his seventeenth birthday. John was deployed to the South Pacific Island of Kwajalein in November 1952 and received a top-secret clearance. His squadron was selected to participate in the world's first thermonuclear test near the Marshall Islands. Eventually John was stationed at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on February 24, 2025.
