It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Brent Lester Schwartzmiller, who left us peacefully on January 2, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on June 7, 1949, in Snohomish, Brent was a devoted father, a cherished friend, and a steady source of strength to those who knew him well. He will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, and for doing things in his own way Brent dedicated his life to his only son, raising him on his own while he was still growing himself. She had such a presence - even though blind from birth and challenged with cerebral palsy, with her indomitable spirit she lived life to the fullest. When living at home, her mother would set up a weaving loom and Nancy would weave placemats that she sold or gave away as gifts. Nancy attended the Washington School for the Blind in Vancouver, Washington.
