It is with great sadness that long time fly-fisherman, Robert A. Campbell made his last cast on October 17th, 2024, passing at the age of 86 at Hospice of Laramie. Robert was well-known for his love of his family, fly-fishing and fly-tying, animals, nature and of course, his students at Prep or the Lab School on the University of Wyoming campus. Born January 21st, 1938 to Lyle and Minnie Campbell in Decatur, IL, Robert grew up in the 1940s which wasn't as idyllic as the old TV shows and movies portray it to be, but life was much simpler. Ian and Christine Travers Ian Lawrence Travers (1931-2025), 94 years, and Mary Christine Sylvia Travers ne? Lacey (1934-2025), 91 years, passed peacefully on March 18 and 19, 2025, 13 hours apart and literally side by side, at Davis Hospice, Cheyenne, Wyoming. They had a deep and lasting connection and had been married 72 years. Ian declined quickly after they learned of Christine's cancer prognosis.
