Georganna Shouse Mahaffey (age 74) passed away on January 17, 2024 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Demaris Shouse of Danville, KY and a sister, Carol Jo Yancey of Texas, and her beloved husband of 42 years, Charles Kimber Mahaffey, II. She is survived by her two beautiful daughters, Samantha Len (Jason Hopper) and Kimberly Demaris (Michael Richardson). She leaves behind three precious grandchildren, Barrett and Virginia Hopper and Charlie Richardson. She also leaves behind her two pet companions, Watson and Butterbean, and many other relatives and friends. Georganna's only goal in life was to be a teacher and she did just that....

June Coers, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021. She was the owner of JC Coers Interior Design in Louisville for over 35 years. June was a member of the DAR. She was born on July 13, 1947 in Stanford, Kentucky to the late John and Margaret (Carpenter) Clausen. She is also preceded in death by her former husband, Michael Coers and brother, Richard Clausen. June is survived by her son, John Michael Coers; nephew, John "Rick" Clausen; grandson, Jesse Michael Coers; granddaughter, Deanna Carter; and great granddaughter, Michaela Jackson.
