Ralph Richmond "Rich" Bacon (84) of Altoona, FL passed away on March 30, 2022. He was born March 3, 1938 in Newton, Massachusetts to Robert Francis and Jean Richmond (Taber) Bacon. Rich is survived by his dear wife of 16 years, Diana Gail (Lupian); his children Robert Bacon and Debra Dowling (Pat). He was also blessed by his grandchildren Mary Bordenaro, Michael Bordenaro, Shannon Baker, Trey Bacon and Richard Bacon. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Patricia (Fowler) 1999. Rich was a fervent patriot serving the United States in the Army Green Berets for 9 years. He served the country in Vietnam also serving as a medic and was a Master Jumper paratrooper. ...

Irma J. Bowman, 95, of Eustis, Florida; formerly of Edwardsburg, Michigan; died April 28, 2021, in Tavares, Florida. She was born January 23, 1926, in Niles, Michigan; the daughter of Lester F. Hartman and Flora (Moore) Hartman. She graduated from Niles High School in the class of 1944. On September 1, 1945, at the United Church in Cassopolis, Michigan; she was joined in marriage to Alvin A. Bowman; son of Roscoe H. Bowman and Almeda (McClure) Bowman. Together they raised three children. Irma was an avid genealogist, spending many years researching and documenting their family history; for which her family is dearly grateful.
