Terry (Tar) Smith, 77, of Wheaton, MN, entered into the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 3, 2023. Tar was born on August 5, 1946, in Herman, MN, where he spent most of his free time hunting and fishing; although his best catch was his high school sweetheart, Sandy Spafford. Even though they took different paths after school, they reunited and were married in 1998 for 25 wonderful years. Following high school, Tar attended St. Cloud State before joining the national guard. Tar then started as a jeweler apprentice and for 50 years grew GoldSmith Jewelers into a hallmark business in Little Falls before retiring in 2013. To know Tar, is to know his love of...
