Dennis Lee Cook, age 77 of Mt. Iron, died Friday, July 22, 2022 at Essentia Health - St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. He was born May 19, 1945 in Fairmont, Minnesota to Armand and Artis Isler Cook. He was a graduate of Sherburn High School and served in the United States Air Force. He lived in Forest Lake prior to moving to Spirit Lake Road in Mt. Iron. He married Linda Mae Anderson (nee McCutcheon) in 1990 in Minneapolis. Dennis worked as a truck driver for Consolidated Freight, was a 50 year Legion member, enjoyed woodcarving, and loved to fish. Todd Ranua, 57, of Soudan, passed away on December 23, 2021 from advanced pulmonary fibrosis with COVID-19 complications in Hibbing. He was born on April 24, 1964 in Mora to Walter and Beverley (nee Lusti) Ranua. He served in the Marine Corps (Okinawa, Japan and California). He lived in Blaine, Menahga, Virginia, Shakopee/Prior Lake, and Soudan. Todd lived for ice fishing on Lake Vermilion, laughing at family gatherings, riding motorcycle with his friends, and playing great music. Linda Mae Hendrickson, age 80 of Britt died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. She was born August 14, 1939 in Ashland, the daughter of Alton and Phyllis (Coons) Bovee, was a graduate of Hibbing High School Class of 1957 and attended secretarial school. She married Carl Hendrickson on May 30, 1959 at First Lutheran Church in Hibbing. Linda lived in Ashland WI, Maple WI, Brule WI, St. Paul, Topeka KS and Hibbing prior to moving to Britt. She worked at the Foshay Tower in Minneapolis, was employed in the Finance Office at Hibbing General Hospital, Sears, and retired from K-Mart all in in Hibbing.
