Mary Elizabeth (Harrington) Sullivan March 21, 1945 - November 30, 2024 Ferndale, Washington - Mary Elizabeth (Harrington) Sullivan, of Ferndale, passed away peacefully on November 30th, at the age of 79. She was born to Michael Joseph and Anna Veronica (Gish) Harrington in Olean, NY on March 21, 1945. Then in 1954 Mary's father, an employee of Socony Vacuum Refinery, moved the family across the country to settle in Ferndale where his employment continued with the flying red horse, Mobil Oil Corporation. Mary graduated from Ferndale High School in 1963 at which time she began her career at the Ferndale Dental Office, working for Dr. Grant Nelson. She continued her devoted service under Dr....

William C. "Bill" Meyer, age 82, of Acme passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022 in Bellingham. Bill was born April 22, 1940 to parents Cecil Carl and Irene Ruth (Arnott) Meyer. Bill was a lifetime resident of Whatcom County, he graduated from Mt. Baker High School with the Class of 1958. He spent 4 years in the US Air Force stationed at Kingsley Field at Klamath Falls, OR where he was Honorably Discharged. Kyle Burton Davis passed away peacefully the morning of Monday, January 24, 2022 surrounded by his wife, Barbara, and his children, Megan and Tyler. Kyle was born in Bellingham, Washington on September 2, 1956 to Marie and Charles Davis. He graduated from Sehome High School in 1974 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Communication Education from Western Washington University. He went on to work as a graphic artist in many studios and later became the owner of RiverCity Screenprinting in Mount Vernon, Washington. Nelda Lou Irvine passed away at her daughter's house in Bellingham, WA on December 21, 2021 at age 73. Nelda was born on December 25, 1947 in Carthage, TX, grew up in Kilgore, and she lived most of her adult life in Tyler. Nelda graduated from Kilgore High School, and she worked at Wal-Mart in Tyler for 24 years. Nelda is preceded in death by her parents, Birdie Lou (Haden) Hollis and Hiram Rousseau Hollis, and brother, Hiram Ray Hollis. Kalen "Shorty" D. Parrish, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 in his home in Sedro Woolley with his daughter Denise and his friend Bert Williams at his side Saturday, December 4, 2021. Shorty was known in the community for cutting and selling firewood until the age of 82 and drove truck until he was 77 when he "retired". He volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and at a local Elder Care Facility several times a week until the recent pandemic. Jim Johnston, age 76, of Bellingham passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2021 at Silverado Memory Care, his wife Judy by his side. He spent several years battling dementia. Jim was born to Thelma and Jerry Johnston in Arlington, WA. He graduated from Marysville High School, in 1961, later earning a BS and an MA in Fisheries Biology from the University of Washington. In 1967 he married Judy Tucker, his high school sweetheart. Jim joined the Navy in 1966 where he served as navigator and personnel officer aboard the Destroyer Tender, USS Dixie.
