Chester ("Max") Davis passed away peacefully on November 6, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Born September 27, 1948 to Chester and Lola Davis in Newport, Arkansas, a majority of his early years were spent in Newport. His family later moved to Bald Knob, Arkansas where Max graduated from Bald Knob High School in 1966. After briefly attending Harding University and the University of Central Arkansas, Max enlisted in the United States Army where he served for 4 years before being honorably discharged.
