Charles Greenway's life began on September 20, 1927 in Haskell, Texas born to Raymond and Lucille Greenway. Charles graduated from Haskell High School in 1946. He married his loving wife, Addie Frances Key on July 3, 1952 and they spent 66 wonderful years together raising children and contributing to the community. Charles was very involved with his dozer business, Greenway Conservation Contractors, as well as with the City of Baird and later retired from Bandag. Charlotte was born December 8, 1926 in Scranton to John Hammond and Ila Frances Ray Shrader. She attended school in Scranton and later attended business school in Abilene, Texas. She worked at the Baird Bank and later at McKesson and Robbins in Abilene for 22 years as a bookkeeper. She was married for a short time to George Ricks, and to Blanton Freeland for 22 years.
