Gerald Anthony Ashbeck, age 90, passed away on April 5th, 2024, in Flat Rock, North Carolina. He was a beloved father, husband, and friend who will be deeply missed and never forgotten by all who knew him. Gerry was born on August 23, 1933, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. It is here where he spent his formative years. Son of Frank and Teresa Ashbeck, he was reared and grew up with his sisters Doris Ann and Mary Ellen; he also had a sister Jane Marie who unfortunately passed away at an early age. David Ernest Tellier of Hendersonville, NC passed away on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022. Dave was born in Warwick, RI on February 21, 1953 to Ernest Tellier and Ona (St. Jean) Tellier. An only child, Dave grew up in Coventry, RI, graduating Coventry High School in 1970. He attended University of Connecticut in Storrs where he graduated in 1974 with a degree in Political Science. In 1978, Dave was a member of the first graduating class of the Stamford Police Academy in Stamford, CT. It was there and over the next several years as a Stamford Police Officer that Dave met his Brothers, some of whom would remain his lifelong friends. A wonderful lady passed the morning of April 7, 2022. Judith McFerran Robertson was born in Ft. Smith, Arkansas in 1947. Judi was the daughter of Jack and Mary Sue McFerran and the sister of Steve McFerran and was raised in Texas, primarily in Corsicana. She then graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Education. While in school at Austin, Judi met Ron Robertson and they were married in 1970. Ron worked for an oil company and they began a life of travel that lasted 51+ years in which they lived in 14 homes. Judi taught school in their first two stops, Houma, LA and Lagos, Nigeria. Frederick "Fred" Neil Boehmer, 84, of Hendersonville, passed away on April 6, 2022. He was born in Dayton, OH to the late Norbert F. and Dorothy E. Boehmer. After graduating from the University of Dayton, Fred was the president and owner of Meyers - Boehmer Funeral Home in Dayton, OH for over 40 years. During this time, he and his late wife Pam rescued golden retrievers which he lovingly called "his furry friends". Fred was also an avid traveler and passionate about life. Joyce Flynn Kane, 84, of Hendersonville, NC, died peacefully on February 21, 2022. Born in Loudoun County, Virginia on March 20, 1937, she was the youngest daughter of Virginia G. Flynn (Horne) and Asher N. Flynn. Joyce loved music and had the unique ability to play by ear. She was always known to have a dog as her loving animal companion.
