Mary Lee Thomas Bossert, 4-23-1931 - 8-9-2024, passed away in Fort Worth, TX at 92 years. Visitation: Monday, Aug. 12 at 2-4 pm at Clayton Kay Vaughan. Graveside: Tues., Aug. 13 at 10 am at Glenwood Cemetery, Alvarado, TX. Mary was born in Alvarado, Texas to Viola Rose and Hurchell A. Thomas of Alvarado. Mary graduated from Alvarado High School in 1948, and from the University of North Texas with a BBA in 1953. She taught for 4 years in Dallas ISD, then returned to Alvarado ISD, and taught for 35 years, before retiring in 1992. Mary married Henry Bossert in 1977. Mary Ann Gawlik Moore, 75, passed away on June 29, 2019, peacefully, at home while in the care of hospice. She was born March 9, 1944, in Beeville, TX to Pete & Agnes Gawlik. They later moved to Odessa, TX where she graduated from Odessa High School in 1962 and then married the love of her life, Roy Max Moore Jr,. in November 1963. She was known lovingly by many as "Ms. Mary", from her many years in child care education at Lang Private School and later at Kids R Luv Learning Center and several years privately in her home.
