Lawrence "Larry" Jonas Schwahn, age 82 of Buffalo, Minnesota, peacefully passed away on September 17, 2023 surrounded by his family. Born on June 21, 1941, in Strasburg, North Dakota, Larry was the beloved son of Leopold and Katherine (Nicholas) Schwahn. During his high school years, he excelled in academics and athletics. Larry was a three-sport All-conference athlete in baseball, football, and basketball at Strasburg High School and Valley City State University. He received the honor of class valedictorian at Strasburg High School, foreshadowing a lifetime of intellectual pursuits. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Tony was the youngest of 4. As he grew so did his passion for floral design, he opened his own flower shop in Caldwell, New Jersey. He met his wife, Sara (Hedstrom) Macagnone and they were married July 6, 1991. Shortly after, they had two sons, David and Andrew. She was born on December 15, 1938, to Albert and Johanna Lang in Harvey, ND. Ron and Arvilla were joined in marriage in Minot, ND on June 19, 1965.
