Don Edward Brown, Sr. of Centralia, Illinois was born on January 24, 1950, to the late Helen Mae Jones and Carl Edward Brown in Centralia, Illinois. On June 10, 1972, Don married Rosetta Birdo of Centralia, IL. This union gave birth to his son, Don Edward Brown, Jr. After the marriage ended, Don married Jenny Spurlock of Anna, IL on March 22, 1996, and welcomed their two sons, Dylan Edward Brown and Matthew Jordan Brown. Don enlisted into the United States Air Force on November 5, 1970, where he served his country for over 25 years. He received many awards and retired at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. Pauline Raines, 98, of Centralia passed away Friday, September 17, 2021, at Centralia Manor. She was born on November 5, 1922, the daughter of George and Mildred (Henry) Raines in Centralia. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents George and Mildred (Henry) Raines; and her infant sister Virginia Marjorie Raines. Pauline was proud of her hometown, Centralia and was happy to come back after retirement. Pauline found education so important, she attended the University of Illinois and then moved to Indiana to get her masters.
