Betty Ann Padgett (Tayman), 83, of Farnham, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, following a five-year struggle with dementia. After a brief battle with pneumonia, Betty passed away peacefully with her beloved daughter by her side. Betty was a kind-hearted, generous, and determined woman. Her life centered around family, friends, and her Church. Those she left behind realize that even time cannot erase the loving imprint she left on our hearts. MAJ William Thomas Tanner, M.D., Medical Corps, United States Army, known to many as Dr. Bill Tanner, passed away comfortably and peacefully on June 24, 2021 with family at his bedside after a six month long battle fighting coronavirus and its complications. He was born to William Hutchins Tanner and Shirley Marie McKay Tanner on August 28, 1952 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, DC.
