She worked as a Program Administrator at NCTA and Proctor & Gamble and some additional contractor jobs before stopping her professional career due to her health. In addition to her mom she is also survived by her brother Mark, grandmother Dorothy Bowie, aunts Freda (Phil), Clarissa and Maria, uncle Rod (Teresa), niece Leah, nephews Mark, Jr., Ray, a host of cousins and her Beltway Church of Christ family.
