William Dell DeHart died on March 18, 2025 at Southern Utah Veterans Home in Ivins, UT. He was born May 21, 1928 in Keosauqua, Iowa to Hector E. DeHart and Mabel Saunderson. He attended school in the Keosauqua Public School system for 12 years. After graduation from high school, he attended the State University of Iowa earning B.S. and M.A. degrees. After college, he entered the military service, serving as both an enlisted man and an officer, and was released to inactive duty as a LTJG in the Navy. He married Vivian Edwards in Idaho Falls, Idaho on January 31, 1966. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls temple. He was raised in Firth, Idaho and graduated from Firth High School. Martha "Marie" Meldrum Merrill, age 89 passed away on 28 November 2022 in her home in St. George, Utah. Marie was born the summer of 1933 in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada to James and Lucy Meldrum, where she lived until she was 15. The family then moved to Moses Lake, Washington. She attended nursing school in Rexburg, Idaho. She met her future husband, LeRoi Merrill, when he was a patient at the hospital at which she worked. Mark was born in Cache Valley on September 17, 1954 to Howard Melvin, Jr. and Ethleen Johnson Grant.
