Sheila Elizabeth Peters Hendrix, 65 of Ringgold, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023. She graduated from Ringgold High School and lived most of her life in Ringgold, Georgia. Sheila was a member of Ringgold First Baptist Church and enjoyed recycling, reading, cooking, water aerobics at the YMCA and all activities fitness related. She was sweet, goodhearted and a great daughter, sister, and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Eugene Peters and Margaret Fletcher Peters as well as grandparents, aunts and uncles. His presence was required elsewhere, and with the knowledge that life would end soon, he made his peace within the unwanted limits of his sustainable physical health. He was born to the late Leroy and Ovie Lee Wallin Pence, was a lifelong resident of LaFayette and was of the Christian Faith. Dan retired in 2009 from the Walker Co. Charles Robert Bledsoe, Sr., age 87, of Rising Fawn, Georgia passed away Friday - October 2, 2020. He was born in LaFayette, Georgia to the late Frank Lamar and Jenny Viola Brown Bledsoe. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1976. He was a pilot and flew many aircraft during his service to our great country, including reconnaissance missions during the Vietnam War.
