Martha C. Doris, 83, died peacefully at her home in The Villages, Florida on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Born on November 3, 1941, in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Elizabeth (Engstrand) Wright. She was a graduate of Honesdale High School, class of 1959 and of Lackawanna Junior College in Scranton, Pennsylvania where she received a degree in Business Administration. She was employed at IBM in Oswego, New York as a Food Service Specialist. Marti, as she was known to many, moved to The Villages in 2003. Marti was a self-taught violinist who played by ear.
