Zofia Tanska Kaczmarczyk, loving mother and babci, 65, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 25, 1956, in Myszyniec, Poland. Zofia met the love of her life, Kazimierz, at a zabawa (party) as a teen. Their love quickly blossomed and at the age of 18 they married and moved to the United States to begin their life together. She lived in New Haven for many years before moving to Meriden, where she spent her last 35 years and worked as a CNA at Miller Memorial Community for over 20 years. Joseph J. Mrazik, Sr., 94, of North Haven passed away peacefully May 7, 2022, at Whitney Rehabilitation Care Center. He was the husband of the late Nellie Cwiertniewicz Mrazik for 62 years. Joe was born in Wallingford, May 10, 1927, a son of the late Joseph and Emma Papp Mrazik. He served his country with honor in the US Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater. After being discharged, Joe began a career with United Illuminating as a 1st class mechanic for 35 years until his retirement. William Joseph Albert "Joe", 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 14, 2022 after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Dorothy A. Gahl Albert. Joe was born in Caribou, Maine, on January 12, 1939, a son of the late Eugene and Eva Cowett Albert. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was first stationed at Great Lakes Naval Base, Illinois, where he would meet and soon marry Dorothy Gahl who was serving in the Women's Army Corp.
