Sylvania - Ann French Boddiford Edwards, age 77, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Optim Medical Center-Sylvania. She was born May 30, 1943, in Athens, GA to the late J. Knapp and Grace Pfeiffer Boddiford. She was a graduate of Screven County High School, Class of 1961. Church played an important role throughout Ann's life. She grew up attending Buck Creek United Methodist Church in Sylvania, GA. During the three decades that Ann lived in Madison, GA, she attended the Episcopal Church of the Advent where she often played the piano. Atlanta - Mrs. Emma Irwin, a longtime resident of Atlanta, GA, died of natural causes on Sunday, July 19, at the age of 98. Emma was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Lottie Pfeiffer Hagan of Sylvania, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm R. Irwin; sisters Helen Hagan and Elise Strickland; brothers Carl, Hermann, and Elliott Hagan.
