Ofelia Gonzales Trevino, 98 years old, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at St. David's South Hospital in Austin, Texas. Ofelia was born and raised in Raymondville, Texas. She attended Raymondville Schools and graduated from High School in 1942. She was a member of the Raymondville Women's VFW Auxiliary during WW II. In 1959 she married Jose Nicolas Trevino and lived in Raymondville. She retired from the Raymondville Independent School District in 1991. Ofelia then moved to Edinburg, Texas to help raise her two grandchildren. During her time in Edinburg, she became a member of the Catholic Daughters of Mount St. Carmel. Mary Oxford Englander took her last breath on the night of December 26, 2020. Mary was born on January 20, 1950 to Hubert Oxford II and Virginia Cunningham Oxford in Beaumont, Texas. Jane Carroll passed away May 24, 2020 in Austin TX at the age of 88. She was born in Exeter, NH on October 15, 1931 to Emmanuel Pineau and Bernice Swiezynski. She grew up in Exeter, NH, graduating from Robinson Female Seminary in Exeter in 1949. She married Redmond Carroll Jr. in Exeter, NH on September 9th, 1950. They moved to Springfield, MA where Redmond attended college while Jane worked to support them. They moved to Pembroke, NH in 1954 where Jane raised three sons. Redmond, affectionately known as "Doc" Carroll, passed away March 3, 2010 in Austin TX at the age of 91. He was born in Newport, RI on January 8th, 1929 to Redmond C. Carroll and Leona Loch. Known in his younger years by his middle name "Clare" (Clarence), he grew up in Exeter, NH, graduating from Exeter High School in 1946. Returning home after serving two years in the Navy, he married Jane Pineau in Exeter, NH on September 9th, 1950. Jana Lynn Oliver, 66, of Driftwood, TX passed away on October 25, 2019. She was born in Brownfield, TX on February 11, 1953. From a musically gifted family, Jana played guitar, banjo and mandolin, and wrote many original songs. She attended Texas Tech University and began a career in social services work in Lubbock. Jana later managed a juvenile offenders program in Austin, and then moved to Driftwood TX 26 years ago. There she had her own pet sitting service called "Happy Tails to You."
