Billy Jerald "Jerry" Taylor, 85, died March 3, 2022. Services will be held at Coulter Road Baptist Church, Monday, March 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. He is survived by his wife Betty Burton Taylor; three sons, Ross, Greg and Bryan Taylor; daughter, Starla Taylor Goodlin, of Amarillo; seven grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lataine Averilla Taylor and two grandchildren.

On March 1, 2022, John M. Noah departed this life to be with his Lord. He was born March 3, 1943, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Ralph V. Noah and Lydia M. Noah. John lived a full life both as an ordained Presbyterian Minister and a licensed social worker. He graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1969 and served churches in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Wyoming. He was a member of Palo Duro Presbytery in Lubbock, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Beyring Noah. Cremation will be followed by interment at Allegheny County Memorial Park Cemetery in Allison Park, PA.

Having been born in 1925, Mary Jo Knox is a member of what is known as the greatest generation. Our Mom was born on April 7th of that year, to Tom and Lizzie Henderson Knox of Wayside, Texas. Tom died when Mary Jo was only four years old and older siblings had to help raise the two youngest of ten children. They were called "those stubborn Knox girls". Melva Joyce Atchison Needham RN, BSN, CCRN passed away Tuesday, November 9th. Melva was born on November 15, 1937, in Brownfield, Texas to O B and Edith Atchison. The family moved to Amarillo in 1941, where O B found work at Pantex. Melva grew up in Amarillo and graduated from the first class of Palo Duro High School in 1956. Melva entered the nursing program at Northwest Texas School of Nursing in Amarillo, graduating in 1959. Peggy Darlene Covalt Erwin passed on Sunday, November 7,2021 She was born to Jennings Bryan and Alta Covalt on June 18, 1934, in Woodward Oklahoma. She spent her early years in Woodward graduating from Woodward High School in 1952. While in Woodward Peggy met Richard Erwin, who was also a native of Woodward. They were married in Clovis, New Mexico on July 31, 1952. After marrying the newlyweds moved to Kansas where Richard was serving in the military. Joe W. Reed, 84, of Amarillo passed away September 30, 2021. Joe was born January 6, 1937 in San Jon, NM to Charley and Beulah Reed. On July 5, 1965 he married the love of his life, Bettye Lackey. He was the owner of Pioneer Landscaping.
