July 14, 1947 - May 22, 2020 Patricia Kaye (Herron) Rodriguez passed away Friday evening, May 22, 2020 in her Minden, Nevada home after an extended illness of ovarian and colon cancer. She remained dedicated to her Christian faith all her life and helped found a church with her husband to serve the Spanish speaking community of the Carson City area. After a long career teaching at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center, she continued to teach as a volunteer following retirement. She is survived by her husband, Julio Rodriguez of Minden NV; her sister Pamela Herron Wong of Vallejo CA; her nephew Thomas Stover also of Vallejo CA; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles from Kentucky....

Dolores Marlene Jackson passed away on February 5, 2020. She was born December 20, 1936 in Chicago to Rollin and Velma Rooney. Dolores was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Lindloff, and brother, Walter Rooney. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Edward and daughters Allyson Rodriguez and Carol Jackson. She graduated from Sacramento State College in 1964 with a BA in Education and a Teaching Credential. She went on the teach in Portland, OR and Honolulu, HA. Dolores loved teaching and continued to teach until her passing as a teacher for immigrants with the English as a Second Language program. A celebration of life will be held at the First United Methodist Church...

Barabara Ann Desmond passed the morning of Wednesday, January 15th, due to complications related to Alzheimer's Disease in Carson City where she'd been cared for at the home of her sister and brother-in-law and with the kind and indespensible help of Eden Hospice. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Wayne Desmond, of Gardnerville, NV, and four of her five sisters. She is survived by her youngest sister, Lori LeClaire and huband, Jerome, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and the many close friends who adored her. A viewing at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. on February 7th will be held at St. Theresa's of Avila Catholic Church.

William E. Reliford (Bill), 80, of Carson City, Nevada passed away on January 18, 2020. Born September 6, 1939 in East Peoria, Illinois, he was the son of the late Ed and Margie Reliford, brother Sonny, son Kurt and step son Chaz Hall. For 31 years, Bill lived in Southern California and worked at UPS. He moved to Nevada in 1995. Bill was an avid sports fan and enjoyed the Chicago Cubs, Green Bay Packers, Nascar, playing golf and bowling!
