PARISHVILLE - Kenneth D. Emlin, 29, of Picketville Road, passed away Saturday afternoon, November 9, 2019 at Upstate University Hospital after a brief illness. Kenneth was born September 13, 1990 in Rome, New York the son of Daniel and Patricia (Smith) Emlin. He was raised in Rome and graduated from Rome Free Academy in 2009. Kenneth had many accomplishments in his short life - heavy equipment operator, obtaining his CDL, and his greatest accomplishment - putting himself before others. Since an early age, he has been a volunteer fireman with the Westmoreland Fire Department, most recently achieving the rank of Lieutenant.
