Bonnie Lue Eskelson Godfrey, born on October 14, 1949, in Logan, Utah, passed away peacefully at her home in Smithfield, Utah, on August 31, 2024. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her warmth, kindness, and love for family. Bonnie was the cherished daughter of John Doris Eskelson and Lucille Davis Eskelson. Growing up in High Creek Canyon in Cove, Utah, she attended school in Lewiston and later graduated from Sky View High School in Smithfield. He was born July 30, 1933, in Malad, Idaho, the fifth and youngest child of Daniel Williams Thomas and Anna Mae McAllister. He attended grade school through high school in Malad and later received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Utah State University (USU). But his greatest achievement was his family: He married (Jeralyn) Diane Harrison on September 24, 1954, and together they welcomed six children.
