Billy Junior Bledsoe (Bill), 95, of Nampa, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 2, 2025. Bill was born to the late Troy and Jewell Bledsoe on March 11, 1930, in the Ozarks of Missouri, the oldest of four children. Bill graduated in 8th grade in Marsing. He worked in agriculture then joined the Army at 20 and trained as a cook. After six months, he was honorably discharged due to ulcers. He returned to Marsing and started a Country music band at age 22, dreaming of a music career. While performing one night, he met Ellen Thomas. Darlene Ann "Skip" Howard passed away peacefully early on March 30, 2025. She was born in Nampa on October 8, 1933, to Lester and Anna Yates. She attended Nampa schools and graduated from Nampa Senior High in 1951. Shortly after graduating, she tested for employment with the state and aced the test and was then hired by the Idaho Fish and Game Department. She worked in that department as a secretary for 12 years and was well respected. She was such an intelligent lady. She met Ralph Howard at the Roller Drome in Nampa and on November 25, 1955, they married. Their union lasted 25 years. On September 29, 1940, in Broadwater, Nebraska, a boy was born to the proud parents of Robert and Beryl Hanway. They welcomed this "babe" to the world as the second to the youngest of 13 children and christened him with the name of Anson Elliott Hanway. However, the nickname "Babe" was also born and became his namesake. This was the beginning of the life of our father and grandfather.
