Julie Davis Moore of Athens, GA passed peacefully Wednesday, December 2, 2021 with her family by her side. The daughter of the late Musett Hill Davis and Hubert J. Davis, she was born in Commerce, GA on Aug 22, 1928 as Julie Lee Davis. Julie graduated from Talladega High School, Talladega, AL in 1946 and enrolled at UGA as an Art Major. She was a member of the UGA Dance Club, Alpha Delta Phi Sorority, and ROTC Military Sponsor. She taught first grade in Talladega, AL prior to marrying James Henry Moore of Moultrie, GA in 1949.
