He was preceded in death by his son, Benjamin Kegley, and his parents. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jane Christophersen, his children, Erin Coffman (Adam) and Claire Reed (Alexander). He is also survived by his sisters, Carol Kegley and Mary Howard Brentano (Michael).
