Lydia Story Edwards, 91, of Americus passed away Friday, May 19, 2023 at Magnolia Manor in Americus. Lydia was born on August 2, 1931 in Turner County to the late Glenn and Pauline Howell Story. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Albany. She volunteered many hours at church and also served as the church librarian. Lydia also enjoyed arranging flowers and cooking. Galia was born in Tift County on July 16, 1928 to Warren Jackson and Rosie Maybelle Jones. She was a graduate of the class of 1945 of Tifton High School. She was married to James C.
