Sharon Ann (Fultz) Helmerick, 82, of West Lafayette passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021. She was born January 11, 1939 in Bedford, IN, to the late Parker and Ruth (Bair) Fultz. She was a graduate of Shawswick High School. Sharon worked as a Secretary for Klondike Elementary for 28 years before retiring in 1999. On February 27, 1999 she married Cecil Helmerick in Lafayette. He preceded her in death on June 1, 2013. Sharon was a member of 1st United Methodist Church and past member of Tri Kappa, IAEOP (Indiana Association of Educational Office Processing). Harold D Hammack, 78, of rural Lafayette, passed away on July 1, 2020, at 12:15 AM in the IU Hospital Hospice Care in Lafayette. Harold was born in Cannelton, Indiana in a log cabin on April 21, 1942. He was the son of Jesse and Amanda (Cook) Hammack. Upon graduation from Cannelton High School, he served in the United States Army stationed in Greenland under the ice cap as PayMaster. Harold married Marilyn Reichart on December 26, 1990. They enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the US and Internationally. Together they shared a love for cooking, gardening, antiquing, card playing, and caring for others. Amanda Cooper, 95, of West Lafayette passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at St. Mary's Healthcare. She was born March 30, 1925 in Hyden, KY to the late Granville and Mary D. (Boling) Huff. In 1945 she married Gerald Eugene Cooper in Macon, GA. He preceded her in death in 1969. Amanda was self employed working as an Interior Designer for 10 years. She attended Battle Ground United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and sewing.
