Millie Griffin Gilmore, 95, of Albany passed away, July 11, 2024 at Willson Hospice House in Albany, Georgia. She was known for dedication and compassion throughout life. Millie began her nursing career at Tift County Hospital in Tifton, where she worked numerous years before transitioning to Phoebe Putney in Albany, Georgia. After many years of nursing at Phoebe Putney, she transitioned to a pharmacy technician position where she remained until her retirement after forty-three years of service. He was retired from the Albany Marine Corps Logistics Base after 33 1/2 years of Civil Service. After retirement, Will enjoyed serving as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels for many years.
