In his home in Maryville, Tennessee, Scott Edward Wheeler went home to be with the Lord on June 5 , 2022 at the age of 67. He spent his last week surrounded by his loved ones, sitting out on the porch reminiscing on all the good times, for there were many.
Scott's journey began in Bolton, Massachusetts, with his loving parents, Richard and Barbara, and his brother Dickie. However, that was only his jumping-off point. Scott had a very adventurous soul, he always made sure to live his life to the fullest. Fast forward 30 years, a couple of moves, quite a few shenanigans, and a whole lot of goofing off, he ended up in South Florida where he met his beautiful and wonderful wife Vivian. He now had a forever adventure buddy, a sounding board, and life partner. Together they had two amazing daughters, Alicia and Marissa. Not only was Scott a loving and faithful husband but he was also an encouraging and loving father.
When Scott was in the room, you could guarantee that there would be laughter, storytelling, and glowing smiles all-around. He was a well respected, hardworking, and honest pool contractor throughout the state of Florida. Even though he worked hard he was always at the dinner table every night with his family, no matter what. When he wasn't at home or at work, you could find him serving on the mission field, whether that be across the street serving as an Elder at church or as a missionary building churches in a remote village in Haiti. Scott was always full of compassion and went the extra mile to help anyone and every one, no matter the cost. He used his last moments with friends and family to share the gospel and love on them as Jesus would have.
He touched the lives of so many people, and his memory will continue to do so long after. For he is "The Man. The Myth. The Legend." He is survived by his wife, Vivian; daughters Alicia and Marissa; and brother Dickie.
