Scott W. Reynolds was a man of deep faith and is now at the feet of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. On August 2, 2022, Scott passed away from reoccurring complications due to head and neck cancer.
He was born to Richard & Dianne Reynolds on August 26, 1963, in Houston, Texas. In 1968, his parents moved the family to River Plantation in Conroe. As a boy, Scott was a neighborhood friend to all, young and old. Friend's parents respected and adored him for his kind nature and Southern etiquette and peers loved hanging out with him for his love of laughter and adventure. Scott loved being outdoors playing with his friends, building forts, playing football, riding bikes, and tying up younger brother, Lance, in a tree not to mention, upside down. All play was suddenly stopped when the sound of Mom was heard announcing that dinner was ready, especially when Scott's favorite, fried chicken, was on the menu. His love for the game of football introduced him to many life-long friends who were ever present throughout Scott's life. He traveled extensively in his younger years attending NFL Pro bowls, skiing the many US mountain ranges, fishing in Alaska, and diving in Belize.
Scott attended Conroe High school, Tyler Jr. College and Sam Houston State University. He had a successful career in the insurance industry & outside sales always surpassing the goals set by his leaders.
Scott met and married his soulmate, Robin, and together they created a beautiful family and home. He was an incredible father sharing his faith, showing patience and absolute unconditional love to the two people whom he adored most in this world, daughter, Alex, and son, Zach. Attending the sporting events his children were involved in and rooting for Zach or doing the same cheers routines as Alex, was a priority for Scott. He & Robin recently celebrated their 25th anniversary on July 23rd by renewing their vows in a sweet, personal moment.
Aside from spending every moment possible with his beloved family, Scott found great joy in helping others. He was constantly looking to see whose life he could change next.
Scott is preceded in death his parents Richard and Dianne Reynolds and brother Lance Wade Reynolds.
He leaves behind his wife, Robin Benard Reynolds, daughter Alexandria Reece Reynolds and son Zachary Benard Reynolds, his sister Lisa K. Reynolds, nephew Jackson Reece Reynolds, and Uncle John Reece, Jr.
Scott also leaves behind many family members as well as countless friends who care for him very much.
Rest in peace, Scott.
