Sarajayne Garner Beck

Mrs. Sarajayne Garner Beck, of Lakeview Drive in Milledgeville, Georgia, died Friday, May 1, 2020. A private graveside funeral service will be held in Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville.

Mrs. Beck was born in Sandersville, the daughter of the late Luther Garner and the late Sara Rainwater Garner. She spent most of her working career in the Insurance business retiring from Murphy's Insurance Agency of Milledgeville after many years of service. In retirement, she and her beloved husband, Brookins, loved traveling in their motorhome and visited every state with the exception of Hawaii. Sarajayne devoted 38 years of her life to a 12-step program where she offered hope, love and serenity to many. She served as a delegate for the state of Georgia, panel 41, and represented over 21 districts. Sarajayne loved living on Lake Sinclair, kayaking and spending time with her animals.

Survivors include, her step children, Teresa B. Barlow and her husband Kenny and C. Brookins "Buddy" Beck all of Sandersville; her sister-in-law Elaine B. Williams and her husband Theo of Edgefield, SC.; cousins Linda Rhonda Smith and Beth Rainwater DiGivanni; and devoted friends Tammy Youngblood and Beverly Carroll.
