Sarah Elizabeth Mims, 24, of Leesburg, Georgia, entered her eternal home to be with Jesus and the loved ones who went before, on May 31, 2020.
Sarah Beth was born in Albany, Georgia and lived and grew up in Leesburg, Georgia. She attended Lee County High School.
Sarah Beth was full of life. Her precious daughter, Autumn Claire, brought her the most joy and purpose in this world. When she smiled or laughed, everyone around her was truly blessed. Sarah Beth had a beautiful, down to earth personality with a desire to always lift others up.
"Sis", as her mother called her, loved to travel, spend time with family and friends and beloved pets, Kit-Kit and Cookie. She enjoyed movies and games with big brother, Grover, her best friend.
Sarah Beth was preceded in death by grandparents, Leah King McGee, David Mercer, Edwin Mims and Mildred Mims. She is survived by her daughter, Autumn Claire (Leesburg, GA), mother, Sheila Mims (Leesburg, GA), father, Grover C. Mims (Franklin, Kentucky), brothers, Grover C. Mims III (Leesburg, Georgia and son Grayson Mims) and Jesse Mims (Georgetown, SC), as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held on June 4, 2020 at Providence Church, 2504 Archwood Dr., Albany, Georgia at 11:00 a.m. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Leesburg Cemetery. Pastors Josh and Brynn Copron will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to Providence Church or Private Residence, Inc., both of Albany, Georgia.
The active pallbearers are Nathan Wright, Daniel Mercer, Jacob Mercer, Brandon Etheridge, Tyler Mercer, Mathew Ellington and Caleb Finley. Honorary pallbearers are John Dukes, David Mercer and Ted Ellington.
Due to Covid 19 the public is invited but Social Distancing is still required. The funeral service will be available via live-stream for those who cannot attend.
