Sarah Sue Fish Souders, 76, of Bloomington died Monday, January 13, 2020 in I.U. Health, Hospice House. She was born July 6, 1943 in Bedford to Raymond Fish and Marcella Smith Fish. She was retired from I.U. Credit Union where she had been a teller for 30 years. On October 19, 1962 Sarah married Robert W. Souders, Jr. and he survives.
Other survivors include her children, Robert Ray Souders of Bloomington and Constance Elaine (husband Ryan) McCrackin of Greenwood; a sister, Bonnie (husband Dan) Davis of Peru; four grandchildren, Zane Gaskins, William Souders, Brooklynn Souders and Brittany (husband Troy) Schoolcraft; 4 great grandchildren; and several nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son who died in infancy, Raymond Wayne Souders; a granddaughter, Kristina "Kristi" Michelle Souders; and a brother who died in infancy, Larry Fish.
Sarah was a long time member of Clear Creek Christian Church, a life member of the Amvets Auxiliary, the Eagles, she was a 1961 Graduate of Smithville High School and loved taking care of her dogs, Dollie and Mollie. Prior to I.U. Credit Union, Sarah had worked at Bloomington National Bank as a teller.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 W Gourley Pike with Pastor Fred Stanger officiating, burial will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery. There will be a gathering of Family and Friends on Friday, January 17th from 4:00 - 8:00 PM and 1 hour prior to services in the funeral home.
