died February 8, 2021 after a hard and courageous fight with Leukemia.
Born at Winchester Hospital on April 3, 2009, she was the daughter of Stacy and Gregory Duval. The youngest of 3 children, Molly (17) and Jacob (15), she was the feistiest and craziest little girl.
Growing up she enjoyed playing hockey, starting out with the town of Andover and in her most recent years, being part of the North Shore Vipers hockey club. She also loved to play soccer being part of Andover and Aztec soccer club. She was loved by every player and coach.
Sarah loved to go camping, swimming, and boating. She loved to do crafts with her sister Molly which included coloring, baking, and creating projects for others with her cricut. She also loved to go shopping with her grandmother and hang out with her friends.
She also had a fascination with pigs and bulldogs, her two favorite animals. One of Sarah's biggest dreams was to fly to the Bahamas with her family and swim with the pigs. She left behind many pets including two dogs, Tuukki and Mitzy, a cat, Cleo, and a turtle and fish. Mitzy was her favorite. She would sit with Sarah when she was not feeling good. Mitzy was Sarah in a dog body.
When she grew up, Sarah wanted to be a teacher or child life specialist because of all the teachers and child life specialists that had such a positive impact on her day to day life.
Sarah had been battling Leukemia since May 4th, 2020 and was one of the toughest kids you would have ever met. She never complained or asked "why me," because she knew that many kids had it a lot worse than she did. We will never forget her crazy personality, funny jokes, and most of all her huge smile and giggly laugh.
Family members include her mother and father, Stacy and Greg Duval; Sister and brother, Molly and Jacob Duval; Grandparents, John and Judy Perrone of North Andover; Sarah is predeceased by her grandparents Mary and Dick Duval of Manchester, NH, Aunts and Uncles, Dina and Matthew Duval of Dover, NH, and Amanda and Matthew Weiss-Perrone of Boston; and many more teammates, coaches, teachers, nurses, and friends.
