83, of Tampa, Florida, passed away at home with her loving family at her side on December 22, 2020. She was a devout Catholic and her faith sustained her throughout her life. She was the beautiful matriarch of her family inside and out, strong, passionate, kind, and generous. Her family meant everything to her. She loved her plants and gardening. She travelled all over the world, but one of her most treasured trips was to the Holy Land. She never met a stranger. She loved volunteering and did so for various organizations in the community. She was a member of the Tampa Woman's Club, American Business Women's Association, and the Italian Club. She supported many charities including Special Olympics, St Jude Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospital, MacDonald Training Center, American Red Cross, Wounded Warriors and Disabled Veterans. She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Louise Russo, brother Morris Russo, and granddaughter Sara Louise Baynes. She is survived by her children Louise "Lisa" Perry, Regina Baynes, and Jeffrey Baynes (Adina); grandchildren, Joshua Baynes (Nicole), Stacey Simpson (Craig), Jonathan Perry, Kayla Baynes; 7 great-grandchildren; brother Pasquale Russo (Jeanie), nephews Pat Russo (Linda), Paul Russo (Melissa), nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. After courageously battling cancer for over 38 years, she was called to Heaven and will suffer no more. Per her wishes, a private funeral mass will be held in the future. Donations can be made in her honor to one of her favorite charities. You will be greatly missed, Mom. Our love will last forever.
